Son got nomination from Stabenow quite a while ago, and like a few others have mentioned, nothing has reached the portal. Has anyone who received a Stabenow nom seen it on the portal yet?

We are still waiting on Sen Peters. I assume nobody has seen or heard anything from his office? If so, please share.

I got my letter about my nomination in the mail and two days later it showed up in my portal... maybe email your regional admissions officer to see what the hold up is? Could just be because of the holidays and such.

Hmmm. That's a good idea. I assumed Stabenow's office just didn't send them out yet. The nominations from our Rep showed up on the USMA portal right away, but nothing g from Stabenow. Thanks for info.

Received from Stabenow. Nothing from Peters. Maj. Smith(Admission's officer) says Stabenow has not sent them in yet.

I got two noms from my MOC. I missed Stabenow's deadline but got Peters done on time. Like Jamesniemeyer12 was implying, Stabenow probably hasn't sent in the slates yet, so I wouldn't worry about it.

As far as I know, Senator Peters is waiting until the end of January to make his nominations. I called his staffer and he said it will be toward the end of January, but they are trying to do it earlier (not sure what that entails).

I don't want to waste a nomination because I am receiving an appointment, which is why I dislike how Peters waits so long.

I have tried to figure why Peters would wait so long. It is one thing if they had to wait to schedule interviews, but the interviews were a long time ago. And likewise, what is the holdup to Stabenow sending the nominations to the academies?

Technically, nominations are not due to the academies until January 31st. I know that is not helpful, but maybe they just prefer to wait.

Stabenow and Levin compared slates as to not duplicate. I would be surprised to see someone with two senatorial noms to the same academy.....however, with this being Peters' first time...you never know. Remember it only takes one and there are no bonus points on the WCS for getting two or more.
