My ds received his LOA in October pending CFA and Nom... His nomination was entered into the portal yesterday. His CFA was sent in days after he received the LOA.. He passed CFA and has everything but 7th quarter grades which get sent out the end of this month... Just waiting for his status to change from LOA-CFA, Med, no Nom... Any insight for this excited family?

Us too! Down on the bottom where it says nomination it says Yes but up top it still says LOA-CFA med, no-nom. Strange?

We had everything in very early. Got the LOA in October all we were waiting for was the nomination

Same here! Nom was just entered on Thursday.. So hopefully things will change this week... Fingers crossed.. We're on Long Island so we should get the Appointment papers quickly

We're on Long Island too. Where are you from. We got the nom letter in the mail yesterday.

In the same boat again! I received and LOA sometime in late October, then got a nom around Christmas Eve! They may be waiting on 7th semester transcripts?

Well it's nice to know we're all in the same boat,lol... I'm told not to worry, LOA's came early for our kids... Most have to wait till spring! Maybe the system just has to process things.

My son went through this process last year and my daughter is doing it this year. His status, last year, was hold. He didn't find out he received his appointment until April. Hunker down if the status says hold. It means he made all the gates, but his file isn't extremely strong and he or she will have to wait until they rack and stack his or her state. Don't sweat not hearing if it says loa as the reporting instructions, and accompanying paperwork didn't come out until late in the school year.

Just a quick question that is slightly relevant. I am accepted to the USMMA and am currently going to be enrolled for the class of 2020, do I need to send in 7th semester grades? (finals are this coming week) and also do they need end of the year grades in addition?

That's one thing we still have to send in. My Sons school counselor told us he would send them out as soon as they are ready

Portal status did not change, still "hold", but DS received call from Senator's office yesterday congratulating him on his "full appointment" to USMMA. Very excited!!!

Ours just changed to "principal fully qualified" not totally sure what that means but it sounds good!!
