I received and accepted my appointment for the USAFA class of 2020. Should I still accept my 4 year ROTC Scholarship and complete the FAFSA as a plan B?

Could you expound a bit more why one would need a plan B if an Appointment is offered?

I wasn't sure where to ask this, but this title has fasfa so...
does anyone know if you do end up attending USAFA, can you still receive the PELL grant? I dont live with my parents, therefore college tuition is up to me. (hopefully won't have to worry about that) but I was wondering if I could receive it to help pay for travel expenses during the summer and to visit my mom on holidays. I don't mean to sound money hungry or ungrateful since USAFA is free, but I was curious if it's an option.

This thread is for USMA, but it should also apply to USAFA.
