Has anyone heard back about Summer Seminar yet? Anyone know when we should be hearing back?
 
Nothing here. I heard it was early March in years past.
 
We will all hear at the same time! Anxiously waiting as well!
 
I attended last year's summer seminar. If I remember correctly, my portal said I would be notified by a specific date, and I didn't find out until that day. Be patient, but also don't forget to keep an eye on your portal. Once you're accepted, you must choose to attend either Session A or Session B; there are limited slots for each session, and they are given on a first come, first serve basis. You wouldn't lose the chance to attend SS if you didn't check your portal that day, of course, but one session will be filled more quickly than the other and you want to be able to choose which dates you would like to attend.

I also went last year and heard back in the first week of March! It was a really amazing experience! Good luck!
 
Kml, the portal hasnt indicated any date that we should be notified by, at least not on mine.
 
I've been reading 1 March a lot, but I've also seen 16 March. I applied as well! Good luck y'all!
 
The date I'm thinking of must have been based on something I read online, then. The most important thing is to check your portal often.
 
Quick question to people that have already attended summer seminar. Do you get an acceptance letter to summer seminar in the mail or does it only pop up in your portal? Thanks.

My DD received an email telling her to check her portal, and the "congratulations, you have been accepted" letter was on her portal. She found out on March 11th. Everyone finds out the same day, well at least last year they did.

I attended last year's SS, and I was notified around the beginning of March by a "Check your portal" email. I can't remember the exact date that I was notified. You won't usually see mail from USAFA anymore (unless it is the calendars they send to mess with candidates :shake:).
 
I contacted the admissions office and they told me that applicants should be notified by mid-February as Raptor said, however my guess is it might go even later than that noticing how they are unwilling to give an exact date like the Military and Naval Academies. I also applied, good luck to all of you guys who did! Hopefully we will all be posting that we got accepted in a week or so!
 
Following thread... son is awaiting summer seminar status for USAFA and USNA as well. Trying to coordinate with Boys State and another opportunity for him.

June's going to be a busy month for many of our kids!

My Ds received an Air Forces SS acceptance on Saturday, 2/13. He has alsp applied to Army SLE and Navy SS but hasn't heard anything back yet from either of them yet. It looks like the first wave of acceptances for each of those two have started going out several days ago for Army and today? for Navy SS. He -like everyone else is keeping more fingers crossed and waiting (the hardest part!) Of course he is thrilled and thankful to already have one acceptance. He is also planning on boys state as well in June.
