Hi, a bit of a broad question, but can anyone estimate how many acceptance letters have been sent out already at this time? I am triple Q'ed and waiting.

I don't think anyone can tell you that for certain except admissions and they won't . Obviously if you look a the 2020 appointment thread you can see it's at least 54 . It has been said by admissions (and is clear from the 3Q letters) that the first big wave will go out later this month. I think it's fair to say that a relative few have gone out to date. I understand your anxiety, we were there just a week ago and got our appointment, hopefully your wait won't be long. Good luck.

On last year's thread 88 people posted that they had been appointed. So far this year 54 people have posted that they have been appointed. Assuming the % of appointees participanting in the appointment status thread this year is the same as last year, 61.3% of the appointments have gone out. That's a pretty big assumption that I am making though and there are probably other factors that I ignored.

Yes, but you're probably much closer to the truth than "the first big wave will go out later this month" and "a relative few have gone out to date." It really is difficult to speculate with any kind of accuracy. They seem to tweak the appointment release dates and numbers each year. And, as you've noted, you never know how well attended this forum is from year to year.
