I am international applicant. I submitted everything i was asked and now i am waiting for notification from the academy. I could not find anywhere the date of the notification from the academy. Can anyone tell me the exact date when international receive notification of acceptance and any information about international admission.

Are you applying independently, by that I mean without the sponsorship of your home government or military? There are a handful of countries that send a few cadets to the USCGA every year. Ones that I can think of immediately include Georgia and Honduras. There are a few others as well that I can't think of. I believe all of these international cadets are selected by their home governments to attend/apply for the USCGA as part of their own military training/officer commissioning programs. I would look to your sponsoring government for information on acceptance notification.

Thank you for your answer. My country has already selected me as a candidate and i took all of the exams, SAT, PT and all the others. I filled paper application and took to my countrys ministry of defense. But as i was told the decision of the acceptance is up to USCGA so now i just have to wait.

If you go to the USCGA website for international students there is a link for timeline and key contacts. Highly recommend you look there. It says selection/non-selection is March. It also lists 2 officers. If you have questions I recommend you reach out to the LT listed for the USCGA admissions.

I know about web site and i checked it so many times but it has a limited information. I ask here because i know that lot of people who use this forum were/are the part of the USCGA. So any information about the admission would be so much helpful for me. And also if anyone knows about academy preferences, which country is more prefered

No one knows for sure the inner workings of how international cadets are selected unless they specificly deal with these areas in admissions. Even if USCGA has a preference to certain countries, they wouldn't publish that info. You asked for the date you would be notified the website tells that, March/April. The website has a link to an admissions LT, that is your best bet to get any detailed answers to your questions. I highly recommend you have some very specific questions, ones that aren't answered on the website. If you are admitted they will provide all the info you need to include any host nation agreements and contractual agreements.
