Hey Future Class of 2021,

NASS Acceptances are out. I received my email of acceptance just now.

Good luck to you all!

Congrats on the acceptance. Now make sure you start to train for the CFA, which will be administered at NASS and will become a part of your file.

Congrats! Do you guys know if they will email rejection letters? Or will the just email the acceptance letters? Thanks!

This is what I can deduce. The application period isn't over until April 15th. They take 2550 summer seminar participants. Also, the USNA website said that final decisions will be sent by 1 May.

So if you are rejected or waitlisted, you probably won't hear until closer to 1 May, IMHO.

Therefore, if you haven't heard anything, you are still in the running. Best wishes!

Last year I received my rejection during the first week of April, so I concur with Padre101 that you will know if you are rejected in April at the earliest.

Did any one of you get an invite to the Feb/March 2016 CVW **before** you got your 2016 NASS Acceptance news ?

DD is going to CVW next week. Despite what is stated, (This IMHO), I pretty much feel that a later NASS invite to her would be, to some degree contingent on how her visit goes ;>
(that's how I would run the NASS invites, LOL )

I got several CVW week invitations. Since October (I attended the STEM Program Last Year).

DS got his on Feb. 21 last year. They seem to trickle out just like appointments do.

No email today. Is there anyone who received a CVW and NASS? Curious as to the difference of each type of invite...

Very true, better there than AFA. DS tried it first there, altitude killed his run. I think it was like 6:15. It was 5:35 at Navy. Read the training posts here, lots of good info.

DS was very surprised to hear back so quickly. Everything he read said Navy did not do rolling admissions and those selected would be informed in April. He applied in Jan. I'm glad too because its nice to have more time to get the logistics figured out.
