My son's nomination is listed twice on USNA portal. Each has a different date--2 days apart. Any idea why or what this might mean?
Try posting it on the USNA forum, where there's more traffic. I'm also on the same boat so I would like to know what they mean. Good luck to your son btw!!Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I had no idea they could do that.
So, does the number next to the nomination mean the place that you took on the slate?(for examlple, #1 means that you're first on the list?) It's happening to me (West Point). I'm hoping for an appointment this year. This happened to me for West Point. It means that your congressman/congresswoman has you listed in two slates instead one. Essentially that probably means the congressman operates under a competitive slate.
Mine only says "MA07" for two separate dates, which I found out I'm in two slates. So, does the number next to the nomination mean the place that you took on the slate?(for examlple, #1 means that you're first on the list?) It's happening to me (West Point). I'm hoping for an appointment this year.
Did you receive an appointment?Mine only says "MA07" for two separate dates, which I found out I'm in two slates.
Any way good luck! I myself have two nominations(2 slates) and a nomination from one of my senators! I'm just sitting back and waiting. So, does the number next to the nomination mean the place that you took on the slate?(for examlple, #1 means that you're first on the list?) So that means he didn't even have 10 candidates apply for a NOM? Our congressman is not new by the way.
