Did you do DVP at West Point as well?...Well if AFA invited you for a PAID visit then chances are more than likely that they are interested or want you to go there. They don't usually just pay for random people to come. They usually have goals in mind that they are trying to achieve. So to answer your question, yes your chances are good.

yes WP paid for me to come out as well

I did one of those visits at West Point too and how did you like it overall? I live in CO and an ALO from the USAFA came down and talked to me and a few other students and said how it's a really good sign of they invite you to visit with expenses paid

I really like both. Everyone one at both was so nice. I think that USAFA is more chill, but I could be very wrong. They gain most of their privileges after doolie year. The biggest thing is that USAFA is really tough for the 1st year, but everyone says your quality of life get exponentially better after that. At USMA, the 1st year is easier, but the difficulty stays the same every year.

I'll tell you what I told my DD. Four years at a school might seem interminable, but you need to think about what you want to do after the academy.

If you want to go infantry, then WP is the place. You're looking into space command, then USAFA. You want to be on a boat or submarine, then look at Annapolis. Think about where you see yourself in terms of a career and that will help you decide which school if you get the chance to pick.
