Wait listed

Hello, just received news that I have been selected for the wait list. What's it like for a person on wait list? When will I generally find out if I get in or not? How many people usually get accepted as a wait lister? On the bright side at least I didn't get rejected.
 
DS also had his portal status changed to Wait List today. I wished it was an April fool’s joke, but it’s not. This will be a huge disappoint for him as it is for all those not receiving appointments. Now on to plan B or C. He submitted his application for an NROTC scholarship in late January and the status there continues to state “Scholarship Selection/Placement System”, whatever that means. Best wishes to all those whose status still indicates CPR.
 
Anyone still waiting and NOT get a Wait List Notification Email or Portal update to their status, today ?

New acronym (?) = WLNE

Hurry-up, how long after you submitted your NROTC scholarship application did you receive notification of your scholarship and what did your status indicate on the NROTC application site once you received the scholarship?

I also was wait listed today. I'm just curious; how many of you guys that got wait listed are going to wait or just decide to go with plan B?

Firehawk, My son submitted his app September last year and was notified in November I believe.
