The results of the third round are currently being reviewed by the Battalions. We are expecting permission to notify the winners by middle of next week. Of course there are ethically challenged ROOs that may be contacting you sooner, and your status will probably change in the system before we have a chance to send you an email or give you a call. Make sure you check your status every 5 minutes for the next week to ensure you have the best chance of getting an offer!!!!!

If you don't get an offer remember you can still become an Army Officer. Come to school and enroll in Army ROTC.

And finally, since we love to keep dangling carrots in front of all of you. There may be some supplemental 3 year scholarships given to the schools to offer to applicants that didn't receive an offer. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you contact the ROTC Battalions you are most interested in and remind them what your status is and how much you still want to attend their school, join their Battalion, and eventually become an Army Officer...especially if you are interested in attending Clarkson (shameless plug).

Thank you so much for this information.

Clarsonarmy, from what you have posted it looks like the Battalions have a choice of who is awarded a scholarship? Also if my DS is Boarded and does not receive a scholarship how does it appear on the portal or will there be an email notifying him?

I believe his status will remain at boarded. That is what I heard last year when DS was waiting. Also, when checking make sure they log out and log back in. DS still said boarded when people started posting portal changes. Thankfully someone posted about logging out and back in. When he did this is changed from Boarded to Winner.

Good Luck to everyone waiting

I just got notified by an ROO at one of my universities about my winning of a 3 year scholarship. It was right after future soldier training that he called me, and I started shaking so bad my sergeant gave me a funny look :). Congrats to all the other winners, and best of luck to everyone else! Just remember to push it hard your freshmen year and you will do great!

Ha, didn't take long for one of those "ethically challenged ROOs" to make early contact.

Congratulations.

Question, since you were at Future Soldier training, have you enlisted?

No, my Sergeant contacted me about my interest in the Army during the summer. I told him about ROTC , and he said I should join his program and that he was willing to help. So I joined in August to get in top shape for my PT test in November, and I enjoyed the program so much that I decided to stay in it until I go off to college.

Any chance that winners will be contacted before middle the of next week? I see one winner received notification. Congratulations and Thanks :)

Good luck to all of you waiting out the final board notification. Remember the feelings all too well even though it was 5 years ago for my family, our DS was not awarded a scholarship. Don't give up the goal of being an Army officer if you also find no "winner" status change on your portal. He commissioned last May and is now at BOLC.

Hope all of you stay busy these next days and the hours pass quickly. :)

I tried logging on to see if I'm my status had changed, but for some reason it keep stating that I have entered the wrong password and username. Is anyone else dealing with this issue?
