Hi i see postings about skinny being bad i recieved a skinny envelope,but it said Your record has been forwarded to the Cadet Candidate evaluation for review.You are one step closer tp appt,and will be notified no later than april 15th I guess this is good or is this a standard letter Thanks

My son got the same. He received his appointment 6 weeks after the date on the letter. April 15th is coming up fast, so you won't likely wait as long as he did. We were told to add 5-6 weeks to the date of the letter for an approximate time frame, and this estimate was pretty close. Good luck!

Did you guys not get notified when your son's file went before review? I think everyone gets that letter when the file goes to the CCEB....I think? It would seem logical anyway.

I'm thinking the same way as Shellz--that it is standard. My son got one two weeks ago, exactly the same, so we are not anticipating anything more until close to the 15th. When did you get the application in--was it close to the jan 31 due date? I am guessing they are processing a lot of apps these next few weeks!!!

To help you out...our son's file was complete on Jan 16th. But, he was a second timer, so I don't know if that figures into things. Also, everything except first semester grades was in by Nov 1st. Then again, maybe that had nothing to do with his early notification. It's a very confusing process from this side of the equation.
