On my Dodmerb portal all it says is that all basic information have been received. I received my remedial request from the recruiting director of the school, but I did not see the status changed in the portal.

if you are referring to dodmets.com it will only update if your remedial requires a doctors appointment.
On dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil under status it should show the remedial codes and their status

Sometimes it can take a bit to update.

I'm not sure who this is or what this means. Remedials come from DoDMERB or they come from the SA or ROTC waiver authority/medical staff

The AMI was issued by dodmerb it was only delivered via email from the recruiting director of the college

You should get a letter in the mail as well.
Seems odd the college would be involved, unless it is the ROO of the ROTC detachment.

You can look on the DoDMERB page under contacts. There you will find email adresses and phone numbers for your DoDMErB POC. They are assigned based on your last name. Send them a respectful note or give them a respectful call and they will assist.

Sounds like your ROO is on the ball.
You should still get a letter in the mail at some point.
The portal will not update until the request information is received by dodmedrb

Just checked my status and it says qualified
I have a question, I am assuming you were from the second board? How long did the remedial/and waiver process take from the time you went to your physical?

My son is from the first board and we are still waiting for news on his waiver. He did have a remedial exam for another issue and that was taken care of and approved. No waiver needed for it.

Oh wow, so sorry to hear it is taking so long, that must be excruciating!

My son has been waiting since he submitted all documents for a waiver on two issues on 3/26. He's from the first board, so it's been a long road, just at Clarkson suggested months ago. The wait is agonizing.

Yes...long haul. We have been waiting since 3-15. Sometimes it can be a quick process and sometimes months!

My physical exam date was 3/05
I sent in my AMI on 3/22 and received my status letter 4/17
