Any BFE after getting a TWE?

I'm curious how many for the USAFA Class of 2020 had received a TWE and then awarded an appointment at a later date? I think I've seen someone already mention they received an appointment after a TWE (for class of 2020) on a different thread. Anyone else by chance? I know the deadline for accepting an appointment is close - May 1st, so it makes me wonder if there will be more BFE's after a TWE. I know admissions awards more appointments to make up for declines. I saw a stat that said approx 9% of appointments will be declined. However, I'm wondering.... if an appointee declines the offer, and their MOC has a slot open, does the AFA have to award another appointment to someone on that MOC's slate? Is this how BFE's are awarded after previously getting a TWE?

I know of 1 person that received a TWE and then was offered an appointment in May. That was 4 years ago.

I was wondering the same exact question because Im from a U.S Territory and so far only one person has been appointed to USAFA 2020 from here. This same person also got appointed to USNA and accepted to Yale and Stanford. So if he declines USAFA, I've been hoping there would be room for another qualified candidate like me. But anyways, I've already accepted my Plan B, West Point, and declined my plan C, the Coast Guard Academy. But if I happen to hear anything from USAFA like a miraculous late appointment after my TWE or Falcon Scholarship offer I really don't know what I would do.

My oldest is class of 2019 and has a friend that received a TWE, but then received a BFE 2 weeks before I-day. My younger son is a candidate for this class of 2020 and is still waiting. According to our Congressman's office and ALO his application is still showing pending.....I think trying to figure out the process is exhausting so we all just have to be patient. My 2019'er received his appointment in October last year so this has been an extremely long wait for my youngest.
