Certificate NROTC

Do the recipients of a NROTC scholarship receive any certificate? A fellow classmate received an AROTC scholarship, and got a folder with certificate enclosed.

My DS did not receive a certificate but he did receive a very nice welcome letter from the CO of his unit.
