April 21st- Still no TWE

Same here! Preparing to brace the next wave of TWE's. We're all suppose to hear something by May 1st?
 
Okay so what do we have in common....
Presidential? MOC? Active Duty Airmen? (Fixed :))
Keeping fingers crossed and feel like we just dodged a bullet!!

MOC and 2 Sen noms from Maine. Received medical waiver. application complete in November.
 
I have come to the conclusion that the academy is just trying to teach us patience... OH8 still nothing..
 
Civilian, 3 Congressional nominations, from MS, still listed as candidate..

Same here man. My base is shutting down at 1200 tomorrow for an airshow this weekend, so my CC can potentially have my email just sitting in his inbox tomorrow afternoon and not even know it. Hopefully tomorrow morning!

A similar thought crossed my mind because of the time difference in Korea and Colorado( 15 hours difference). I'm relying on you guys (Enlisted Airman) updating this page so I can find out. #thestruggle
 
I called admissions again yesterday afternoon (#stalkermom). They said DS is listed as canidate still, but at this point if you don't have an appointment you should be locking in plan B. Canidates left are QNV...qualified no vacancy. More appointments will come as others refuse theirs..probably around the May 1st deadline and after.
 
I called the academy and talked with an admissions counselor for about 30 mins a couple days ago... Unfortunately, I asked about presidential nominations, and he said all the presidential appointments have been given out.

there will be prep offers. The USAFA prep 2017 thread does not list many with most being the enlisted airmen through LEAD program. Two posters from NYC got USAFA prep spots per the postings there. I asked a poster who is at USAFA prep now, and they remained a candidate last year through April 26th when they got offered their USAFA prep spot. I think those will be coming soon!! Keep the faith!
