Is there a convenient way to save information that I would like to reference again to a special area. I see things that I would like to reference later but know I very well may lose track of them.

I am not all that tech savvy so forgive my simplicity.

Try bookmarking the URL in a folder set up for SA Forums:
Click on the following for a detailed explanation:
http://etc.usf.edu/techease/win/internet/how-do-i-bookmark-a-site-i-like-so-i-can-view-it-later/

If you use chrome as your browser, here is a how to video:

Also, if you have Evernote (free application), you can simply "clip" the link and tag it for easy reference later.

(Your DS should be able to help you on this)

Another less sustainable idea would be to print each page you are interested in.

You can also 'click/drag' over text you want to keep. After it is highlighted, you can do a copy/paste (right click) and save it in a document on your PC. Some websites will delete older posts after a few years, so it is better to actually save the text if something you want for future reference.

HA HA if you could see my house now. We use more paper than some 3rd world countries. If it gets printed around here is goes into the black hole of storage boxes

As for DS helping on computer stuff...It's the only reason we let him come home, and the one reason we miss him most! :p We had a resident techie from the time he was 5 yrs old. "Son, how did you learn how to do that"......."I just know dadt"

Thank youu for the tips!

Millenials are just "born" that way. I learned all this from my DS! :D

At a leadership conference at my last employer, we were shown this video as an ice-breaker before we started discussing to how develop and communicate with millennials coming into the workforce.

BTW, I love working with Evernote, Trello, GroupMe and Slack. I ran a remote team and dragged them along with me to learn new ways of sharing info and collaborating on the fly with devices. Google and YouTube demo videos are my particular friends.

I wanted to note that we don't do any systematic purging of old posts.
