This is a list of the prospects for the class of 2017 (HS), already up to 83. I believe that means all of them have offers from Navy (though I haven't gone through one by one) and often all the SA's are recruiting the same group of kids.

They very actively recruit. The SAs bring in very large recruiting classes for football each year. Usually around 30-40 direct admits and 30-40 from NAPS. Obviously 60-80 recruits do not make the squad. Most leave by natural attrition, they realize they simply aren't good enough or they don't want to put the time in. Since there are no scholarships, you stay at the the SA with no issue. Out of all those who start out as a football recruit, senior day usually has 15-30 seniors each year. Of those who get celebrated that day, usually half received any quality playing time. I mention these numbers because recruiting at a SA is unique. Not many make it 4 years as an athlete and its a huge time commitment.
Every school breaks down states and regions differently. If you live in the middle of Alsaka and are good enough, a scout will find you. Fill out a recruit questionaire on the Navy Sports website. Look at at football camps Navy has. If you are good enough, they will pursue you. I always tell everyone who chimes in on here asking about 'how to get recruited' to be realistic, because if you aren't getting college interest from anyone, being recruited at USNA or any SA won't necessarily happen either. USNA is coming off a legit top 25 finish last year. They play in a solid conference and their recruiting classes are only getting better. If you are being recruited by other schools have your coaches send your film and call the coaches. If you happen to weigh in the 175 lb range or so check out lightweight or sprint football at USNA. Unique program.

Have your coach reach out, has more impact than from a player. Make sure you have film and stats to send. Make sure you are on Twitter, believe it or not it's one of the main communication sources. There are NCAA rules about when and how a coach can contact a player (SA's are slightly different) and messaging is key. Also make sure you social media is what you would want them to see.
