Hi Does anyone know if two sports are mandatory at the academy.My son says they are I have read two hours daily on the website are required,any info would be appreciated Thanks
 
You must participate in sports at least two out of three "seasons" (Fall, Winter, Spring).

Intercollegiate sports teams count, but so do inter-company sports as well.

Do any sports run year 'round? If so, can two seasons of one sport count, or do they need to participate in two unique sports?
 
Yes, for example crew runs pretty much all year long with fall and spring seasons as well as indoor erging etc during winter. Crew would cover your entire obligation.

Thanks Boss...he actually does do crew, so perfect example! :smile:
 
On a side note, different kinds of sports are worth different points. An inter-company (IC) is not the same sports credit as a varsity sport. You need to maintain a certain number of seasons and a certain number of sports and club credits.
