I read that I need to have my English and math teachers submit recommendation letters. Is it just a normal recommendation letter?
Thanks you very much for your help!
Hello,

It is done electronically. When you submit their email addresses in your application (via the portal), they will receive specific instructions.
As soon as your portal is open, you can put in the email addresses of your teachers and counselor. They will then get an email from admissions. I'd give the teachers and counselor a heads up, follow up with them a few days later to make sure they have received it (i.e. not ended up in the junk folder). My school uses naviance. Do you know when I will be able to put their emails in the portal?
Make sure you learn how it is used. Your plan B-Z schools, using Common App or not, should be applied through Naviance, which has lots of features and is designed to save your teachers, counselors, and YOU a ton of time!We have Naviance, but we were never told that we should use if for recommendations. I will ask around. Thanks!
Yes, you should get a letter or email from admissions.Am I correct in remembering that for those who applied to NASS, that that application served as the preliminary application and that the candidate portal will not open up until June?
