BIG WHITE envelope. Now, he has been really c.o.o.l. about checking the mail... but, he sure noticed me walking up the driveway with that in the stack.

So, he calmly walks up... and says, "Is that for me?"

I had to say,

"No."

It was his sisters' registration package for Worldview Academy Camp.

Arghhhhhh!

C'mon BIG WHITE!

I think that might qualify as cruel and unusual punishment!!!! Here's to hoping all those big white envelopes with a New London return address are in the mail this week!

My brother is at swim practice, so he hasn't seen it yet, but one made it to Northern California today! So they're coming :)

Oh, bluebeard, that was DEFINITELY cruel and unusual punishment!

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH That is horrible........

Fingers crossed for everyone!!!!!!!

OBJEE-------------------- everyone is going bonkers!!!!!

Congrats to brother of usnahopeful! Happy Day!!!!

So, are you going to be at USNA while he is at USCGA? Are you twins?

Yes we are twins- 10 min apart :), and yes, I am going to the Naval Academy and he the Coast Guard Academy :)! We are both really excited! :)

How cool, twins at 2 different service Academies. Sure glad you will not be playing each other at games. Wishing you all the best

I believe there is another set of twins, both going to USNA

whose mom has posted on here. Unless I am confused and you are one of those same twins and I've got the story mixed up.

Are you the baseball players?

haha thanks :) yeah I also got into USMMA but USNA was definitely my first choice but that would have been funny to have one at the CGA and one at MMA I support you all though :)
No, my mom has not posted on here. But that's awesome to have twins going to the Naval Academy together! :) No, soccer and swimming and my brother swimming and water polo :)

TWINS

I'm the mother of the twins (boys) who are both going to USNA!! We officially (and very sadly) notified the USCGA immediately once the boys decided to accept their appointments to USNA. It was so difficult to send in the declination letter after stalking the mailman daily for months. AIM was a great experience for my sons, and to this day, the boys wear their Coast Guard gear everywhere.

Good Luck to to MWBLUEBEARD and the rest who are still waiting...here's to hoping our appointments go your way!

Oh, yes, baseball mom! I remember you and your sweet

note about notifying USCGA that your dudes were USNA-bound! How about that --- two sets of twins who are headed to service academies this fall!!!

I get a little lost sometimes on this thing... probably because it is hard to keep my cyber world straight and keep my IRL household of 8 running... and more probably because I'm OLD and it is starting to show. LOL

Called the vacuum a lawnmower the other day. Darling children laughed.

Told them all to HURRY and get in the car --- we're late for the airport. Obedient darlings rushed to the car... and I drove straight to the LIBRARY!

Oh yeah, I'm a bundle of laughs these days! My friends say it is the "40's Fog." I think the confusion will all miraculously clear up IF/WHEN my boy gets the BIG WHITE envelope. Don't you agree?

Vacaville Reporter? If so that would be my brother and I :)... do you live in Northern California?
