So on the part about ever being arrested, cited, or fined for breaking the law, would this include speeding tickets??

Speeding tickets are "citations" for breaking the law, which result in "fines". So yes , it would mean you have been bot cited and fined for breaking the law.

Don't sweat this. DS had one during application process. Just let them know about it and how it was resolved. If it's still pending, be sure to follow up with resolution. As long as it's not reckless, you should be fine. When DS called to update them, they almost acted as if he was bothering them with something unimportant. Still do it, though.

I apologize for bumping an old thread, but I also just received a speeding ticket. I pleaded not guilty and am going to court. When I report it on the personal data record, do I have to indicate the speed I was accused of going and the speed limit or can I just say that I received a citation for speeding on (date) and am awaiting a court date?

Cited for speeding on xx/xx and awaiting court date (or scheduled for court on xx/xx) would be acceptable. If additional information is needed they will ask.
