What percentage of the USNA student population are varsity athletes (at the academy, not HS?). An estimate, of course.
 
Don't forget all those Club Teams for which USNA does not have as a varsity team (not just the listed ones). If kid has played a varsity sport in HS not recognized by USNA as varsity or sanctioned Club they have another option. Independent Clubs do play some great Teams at the Club Level and play in some great tournaments. They do pay their own way and transportation costs and can start their own team or join one under the radar with approval. Search around, their will always be someone who played your sport. They get some help from uniform providers.
