:director:Make sure your Plebe gets an Absentee Voting Application filled out so they can Vote Absentee !

I realize each State/County local will have different methods of doing Absentee Ballots, but IMHO, each kid needs to have a say in this election.

BTW, No need for Military Ballot if Plebe DD/DS is State-Side at a SA.

That is All

This is a great reminder. My brother-in-law was kind enough to send DS the paperwork over plebe summer. It does require a bit of lead time I believe.

I believe each military unit has a voter assistance program and did send to SA whiled DD was there and to son at Maritime Academy. Called the son this morning to see if he had registered in his new state of residence or did I have to get him an absentee ballot. Not needed. Still have to get one for the oldest in California as she is still registered here. Good reminder.

If I recall correctly, the XO was usually tone Voting Assistance Officer.

All service members should be well versed in exercising this privlege; combat service being the only exception!

I think they dump it down to the Adjutant in all units. More work same $.
