Yes, it came--and the moment was every bit as emotional and exciting as everyone has said it would be!! My son is ecstatic! He was a regular decision applicant, so the mail is coming for many more of you! Thanks for all the encouragement on this forum...I can hardly believe it has really happened. We are in Lexington, KY--I'll be looking to meet some of you kind folks in New London, CT come June 29th!!:thumb::thumb:

Looking forward to June 29th as well! All us SAF folks need a way to indentify one another. It will be fun to put faces with names.

:thumb:It's an awesome feeling, isn't it? You just want to yell it to the world, but most of them don't understand what your son & the rest of the family have gone through to get to this point. But, WE sure do!!!!:thumb::thumb:

I agree, we need to figure out a way to all meet up in June! Maybe we need to make pin-on buttons with our screen names on it. No one will know what it means but us - then we can walk around looking for pin names that we recognize!:wink::wink: (It might be easier and less original:redface: to come up with a meeting place & time closer to R-Day)

Lexington sends one to USCGA and Versailles sends one to USNA. Must be something in the water around here. Congrats !!!!!!
