I sent in all my paperwork and money to NASS but haven't heard anything back. Do you know if we're supposed to hear anything from them? Also, how do we let them know our flight info?

well, i dont remember if they sent you a letter after you turned in all the paperwork to confirm. but I'm leaning towards no.

as for the flight information. you don't give it to them. that's only if you
arrive outside of the time frame provided for you.

btw, it will be pretty easy to spot the kids who are going to NASS so you can easily bunch up and get lost together. lol.

So you seriously don't have to tell them your flight plans? I'm coming from the west, but I will arrive within the time frame. I will just go to baggage claim and find someone waiting?

I remember them saying they would send word of confirmation three weeks after you paid your fee.

Someone will be there

My daughter attended NASS last summer. As long as your flight is in the time frame suggested in your acceptance letter you ust go to the baggage area and will find mids who will get you on a bus for the ride to the the Yard.

I think I remember the times were between 8 AM and 3 PM, or something like that. I don't remember sending any flight info to anyone.

Next year my daughter hopes to be helping conduct NASS. She's counting down to I-Day (when not prepping for those senior exams and AP exams).

so yep, all it is, is to pick up your luggage and look for midshipmen.
or a USNA charter bus that won't be hard to miss.

I remember reading in my acceptance letter that they would notify you in 15 days within recieving your payment, but its been over 20 days for me now so I just went up and called the Naval Academy directly and they said that I was good to go. With all paperwork recieved

Remember, 15 days to the military is usually about a week longer with passing from desk to desk. You'll notice all the dates on correspondence is always a week before you receive it.
DS said it was real easy once you got to the airport, just look for Midshipmen.
