Hello everyone I took a practice CFA today and here were my results.

BBthrow 75'
Shuttle 7.8'
Push Ups 55
Sit ups 95'
Pull ups 8'
Mile 5:45

Please tell me if I did decent, I am only in 10th grade and working extremely hard to do my best yes the push ups and pull ups are low but I am trying, I also have a year to be at my top so just tell me how it looks so far please.

Since you know the standards from other posts on here, why are you so concerned about what WE think?

Don't rely on other people. You are doing fine. You should know the Averages and all that stuff.

Hornet my concerns are that if i was reading correctly you need 250 points to pass, I am not sure what the miniums are so I don't know the grading scale as well, that is the only thing I wanted to see if my scores would at least have me possibly pass the CFA.

Well, consider that you maxed the run, and the sit-ups, that's 200 points alone. You averaged or did better than average in the other 3 which equates to greater than 50 points each.

Everything is good minus the pushups. Work on the pushups, pullups could come up too. Work on just maxing everything now.

Review your shuttle run. I did mine wrong the first time around.

I scored over a 250 on my CFA. I wouldn't worry a whole alot about it. You look good but just tweak a little here and there. But don't worry a whole lot

if only the pft were that easy ;p. Maybe its the darn room we take it in

I've been inside that room. At orientation we had to put our bags up on the bleachers. It felt to me like any regular indoor track field. I hated those darn things.

Hey sorry, I may have asked this before and got no definite answer. So in track, we use meters. For the PFT they use "600 yard run." Are they referring to the 660 yard dash which is equivalent to the 600m run or not? Cause 600 yards is way less than 600m and I could easily get the maximum time if it were at sea level. Is the altitude that much of a B***?? wow.

It is only 600 YARDS. Altitude really does make a difference, but being a runner, you will be fine for sure.

doesnt matter what shape you're in, the 600 yrd run inside on that hideous track with no water whatsoever in the air at 7258 feet after everything else SUCKS. coming from a runner. lol

Well I'm glad it's at least 50 meters less than I thought it was. This way I at have a shot at passing it...puking or what-not afterwords.
