Just curious, does anyone know who the class exemplar for 2013 will be?

anybody that's dead and your class likes :)

they've had a few that werent academy grads. like patton

yea y'all still got a long way to go. no worries it goes by fast.

I know it's a little pre-emptive, but i'd have to say that BGen. Tibbets would be a great exemplar!

i would agree. from the list i saw from 2012 i liked him the most. not only what he did in WWII but also how he completely stood by what he did throughout his life. If chuck yaeger dies sometime before the voting, however, he will most definitely win. hope that doesn't happen for a long time though. he deserves a very long life

I do have to admit that I am a little biased with it too because I did meet him in person, although I was about 11 years old or so, but he still seemed like a really cool guy. When he came to where I live, he came with Fifi! I have a nice die cast B-29 model signed by him too.
When it comes down to it though, there are many men who are deserving of such an honor and i'm pretty sure whoever we choose will be a great model.

if your class gets yeager, you will be put through endless hours of beating :)

alot of us wanted yeager. but noooooooo! lol

don't you mean "training"? :jump1:

Should we really be talking like this about a living hero? Come on, let's have a little bit of decency!

I dare to come on here and say that I, Ryan, would like to see George W. Bush as the Class of 2013's exemplar.

you gotta kill him first! hahaha, and that wouldnt go over too well.

no, marvin, i meant beating :) lol

Unless you're wishing for his death, that's impossible. Exemplars can no longer be living.

Well, how about Eisenhower? He hasn't been one yet has he?

Teddy Roosevelt would be good too, both of them were decorated, respected military men.

O yeah, and after Patton was chosen, the exemplar must be Air Force related (Army Air Corps, Signal corps, etc. are ok, hence Frank Luke).
