I think it was Yuk year he first mentioned ADA, but he was also interested in FA early on. Those were still 1-2 branch night, but after CTLT he was leaning more toward ADA. I'm just glad cadets get some exposure to the different branches, and are able to talk to those currently in each branch, before they start making their list. And I realize it's a combination of things -- OML, needs of the Army, testing.
I agree with what you said about posts. I had asked my niece's husband about Ft Bliss (E-6, MI). He wasn't very positive about it before my DS went there for CTLT this past summer. But my DS had a good experience, in the branch, at the post, and with the LT he shadowed, so he had nothing bad to say about it. However he does have his eye on somewhere OCONUS. We'll see in February.
