In order to be entered into competition for a Vice Presidential nomination, applicants must write personally to the Vice President during the application period of March 1 to October 31 preceding the year of entrance to the academies. Applications postmarked before March 1 or after October 31 will not be considered.
I was under the impression that one had to write a letter to the Vice President before sending in the application...if you look at the first page in the application packet it says
Does that mean one has to write a letter? Or is the application enough?
So you don't have to write like a letter or an essay saying why you want to attend one of the academies?
If you are applying to more than one SA, do you need to send a separate letter for each academy to the VP's office, or can you just send the one with the order in which you ranked your preferences for the SAs?
