As of about...5 minutes ago, my English teacher submitted his letter of recommendation. With that, my application's complete, and now I play the waiting game...

But I have a question; about how many prospective candidates finish everything as early as I did? This counts for medically and physically as well, as I've finished those requirements also.

I don't know what's considered early but it sounds early to me. Congratulations on getting it all done! It is hard getting the teachers and school administrators to get things done during the summer and at the beginning of the school year. Sounds like you are in good shape here getting stuff in so early. Good luck to you!
My son received confirmation mid August that everything had been received. CFA, DoDMERB and BGO interview already done.

That's great!

My only recommendation is that you might want to give each of the academy coordinators in each of your MOC's office a call and ask if they show your nomination file complete. We did this and discovered, surprisingly, that one said that they were missing a photograph. Nowhere in their packet did they mention that requirement that we could see. We sent them the photo and then it was complete.

Finished also

My daughter finished hers about 2 weeks ago. She received confirmation from one Senator and VP that her nomination package is complete. She is now waiting on the nomination, going to try to bump up her ACT in Math one more time and hard at work on her hectic senior year (tennis and a full AP/Honors schedule).

Just to put into perspective, I finished my application July 1, including the DoDMERB review. I was just proactive early on so that I could hit the first board.

Nice job Bossadai and everybody else! I still have my CFA to do, but then Im complete. Your my competition Boss! Plant city, do you have any interviews so far?

USNA told us today that they are currently 3000 applications ahead of last year, 14,000 total to date. Not to discourage anyone (some of those will never complete their applications) but don't be surprised if things take longer this year.
