I got an ROTC acceptance letter, but I didn't get any DODMERB information. Does it come separate?

OC Josh - My son received 5 yellow pages with his scholarship notification which included DODMerb information.

Did it include the actual information on an appointment?
Just to make sure it was Army ROTC?

Yes it was a 4yr AROTC scholarship listing his 5 top choices pending DODMerb qualification, which he became qualified today.

Notification

My Son also recieved the approval letter with DODMerb pending, but with no further information other than if you had not recieved information from DodMerb within 90 days to make contact.

This leads me to beleive that a seperate communication would be comming from DODMerb ?

His 5 yellow sheets (9 pages front and back) did not provide specifics on the Dodmerb appointment setting.

If there is another process to expedite, we would be interested.

You will get information via snail mail regarding DoDMERB from Concorde services. They schedule the appointments, assign medical doctors, and have an online site where you input your information. In the summer time it all happens quickly, but I'm sure the system is a little slower this time of the year.

In the meantime you can collect medical records and go over everything so you are ready to input information.

Not sure what you mean by they schedule the appointments because they didn't do that his summer for my son. They send us the assigned doctors and told us to make the appointments within 5 days of receiving the letter and input the appointment times on their website or by sending back the form. You then had 30 days with which to get the appointments taken care of.

OC Josh - Some of the information provided below, with all good intents, is not accurate. Again, if you're intersted in accurate information, send me the email. If you're interested in opinions or personal experiences, which may have zero bearing on your case, you may continue on this thread. Your choice:thumb:

Mr. Mullen et al.

I got the packet with the information needed to schedule all DODMERB examinations today separate from the ROTC notification.

If I need anymore help, I'll be sure to contact you.

How does a stress fx of the navicular bone effect DoDMERB?

If Larry Mullen could way in on this one.
