With the amount of works Kolbaserr is putting into this spam job, it must be a past disgruntled member?

Writing actual replies and a title for each reply and new thread, wow!

I doubt its a disgruntled past member. All I do know is he is gone, and so are all his posts.

Don't get your hopes up.
It's a computer program. No work at all once it's programmed and probably attacks plenty of other vulnerable forums as well.

Not to indicate a lack of attention, but I missed it. That being said, is it worth the disruption to suggest exploring some sort of "Abuse" button I see on other websites? There is another system of buttons that look like a thumbs up/thumbs down a reader can select. After x number of thumbs down, the msg is reduced to a link so you need extra effort to see it. A sort of self regulating system.
With that brilliant contribution, I must admit that I've been surprised at how little spam there is on the forum (again, noting that I have missed the most offending program that everyone else saw).

Actually, if you press the triangular shaped yield sign at the upper right of each post, you can easily report inappropriate content. That's what I do and the mods on this site actually do something about things your report. One of them mentioned to me that since they can't possibly read every post, it helps if the members report problems to them so they can be resolved more quickly. People who post spam or bogus ads are just annoying, but I also assume they have written some html code to do that. I report those immediately and just ignore them.

Just when I think I'm being helpful, I find out someone already thought of it. Now if we could just feed mayonaise DIRECTLY to the fish...

We do have a number of systems in place to prevent spam on the forum, but we apologize that occasionally some still slips by. For that we rely on our moderators and members to identify.

"Don't get your hopes up" You lost me again JAM

BTW, do computer programs automatically make typo's and mis-spell words in the space of one thread and multiple posts? No, but I'll agree there was a "boiler plate" he or she was using; there was definitely a person behind a keyboard on that spam job. A computer program would have finished that up in a minute or two, this job took over an hour to do.
