No, I don't care about any amount of money involved its irrelevant for the mids because it will just cycle through their bank account, but it would completely ruin the tradition. The uniforms have always been nice looking and fitted-ish. Always something you would see someone wearing to work (with some color modifications) and always professional. Now you're going to completely change the working environment to some baggy multi-colored uniform whose main purpose in development was to not show stains when working on machinery.
USNA is the most visited college campus in the country, its a national icon, and if they get the blue diggies it will be a sh*t show of tradition change. Imagine the pictures of mids walking down stribling in those blueberry diarrhea get-ups instead of working blues. Don't even try to tell me it looks better. We're "the face of the navy". If you want to change everything else to convenience the men fine, but the academy needs to show its best face all of the time.
