My name is Carrie. I'm currently an AFROTC cadet at the University of Central Florida.

I came across this forum trying to do research on waivers and DoDMERB. I'm excited to see that this forum exists, helps so much.
 
Hello! Welcome to the forums! I have applied for an ROTC scholarship to UCF this year, so I might be seeing you fall 2010, if I dont get accepted to USMA. Do you have any interest in the academies?

Wow, I applied to UCF as well with a ROTC scholarship. Small world.

I didn't apply for the Academies because when I went to the detachment I immediately fell in love with the freedom ROTC has while getting a commission. My friends are all at USNA and they love it, but I definitely wanted to go the ROTC route (most people wonder why! haha). It's been great so far.
