Nomination not on portal

I recieved my nomination on December 24 and it has still not shown up on the portal??
whats up with that?
Also, all the icons on my portal are Green but it doesnt say anything about the completeness of it. Will it be complete when the nomination updates??

Thank you everyone whos has been answering questions. It is so stressfull and nerve wracking to have to wait like this. Your help is greatly appreciated!!!
 
If the icons are green you should be good to go. You can always contact your admissions rep to verify. As for your nom...I would not sweat it. I think the information pipeline is jammed full at this point of the year and it will take weeks to sort out all of the various aspects of the admissions process. Many people are waiting for all sorts of stuff and have been for months.
 
Also just keep in mind that just because your MOC notified YOU of the nomination, they may not necessarily have notified WP yet. Some MOC's tell the candidates first and the academies later. Others (like my son's rep) didn't notify him at all and he first saw it on the online application (his were for AF/Navy). The MOC's have until January 31 to submit their slates to the academies.
 
The people who would turn your icon green are on Christmas vacation. Give it some time. :thumb:
 
Yeah it took a week after my senators office submitted it before it was received and showed up on the portal. As hard (impossible) as it might be, try to relax and wait.
 
BeatNavy, ya I cant relax lol all i ever think about is the academy. I have dreams about being appointed and about R-Day. I'm going insane! :unhappy:

Haha same. I totally hear you. I find myself logging onto the candidate portal 5 or 6 times a day to see if anything has changed, even on weekends :redface: in addition to spending way too much time on these forums. Its all I can think about right now.
 
Ya i have my computer constantly logged into both the forum and portal. I think once school starts again it will get better because right now all i do is go to the gym at 5:30 am come home and sit on the computer on these forums and emailing officials and then head back to the gym at 7:00 pm. I just need things to take my mind off it . luckily i have work this weekend.
