I am located in a City that, in general, does not like the military, San Francisco, CA. I have reason to believe that the amount of people applying to the Air Force Academy from here is extremely small.
Here are my reasons to believe this:
My question is this, how much does this increase (if it does at all) my chances of getting into the Academy(or Prep School). I have completed all of the application other than the CFA, and I have a date set to complete that before the deadline. (This is the hardest part for me, but I am making good progress and will hopefully achieve max on the situps, and hopefully better than the mean scores on all of them).
Thanks
Here are my reasons to believe this:
- I am the only person my ALO interviewed
- My friend's BGO from the Navy said that my congresswoman, Nancy Pelosi, nominated very few people.
- An article I read listed Pelosi as having given out very few nominations last year
