I just looked at the DoDMERB website, and it says:

Agency: ' US Military Academy
Admission Status: Offer Extended
Admission Status Change Date: 20-JAN-2010
Current Medical Status: Pending Waiver Submission/Review (as of 18-DEC-09 )

So would this be reflecting the LOA I received back in November, or could this be referring to an Offer of Appointment from USMA that I will be getting shortly?

Thanks!

For what it's worth, my son applied to USNA, USAFA and USMA. He has LoAs to all three. On his DoDMERB page it says "Offer Extended" for both USNA and USAFA, but says "In Process" for USMA (he has had his USMA LoA since July). You can try and speculate on what that means about your status. It certainly doesn't sound bad :thumb: Do you have a nomination?

Yes, I have a nomination and passed the CFA. Nomination has been posted on my USMA Candidate page since early December.

Thanks!

also...admission status change date was 1-20-2010....I'd be expecting good news in the mail soon!

My Daughters changed today as well! USNA once said In Process ApNAPS now says Accepted?

It means the USMA Admissions Office has sent an offer effective 20 Jan 2010:thumb:

So DoDMERB stated she was accepted for prep, and then it switched to being accepted to a full appointment? Did you mail in any updates for this to take place? -officer

Only updates would have been small like a little improvement on ACT and not even sure if they knew that she played for USA woman's rugby in November. So not sure maybe it just means we accepted the NAPS offer...

Thanks for all the positive thoughts! I just checked, and have been granted a wavier by USMA! Should be getting an appt. in the mail soon.

Just wanted to add, that Mr. Mullen has been a great help! He even took the time to reply to me while he was at a Broadway play! :thumb:
Thanks Mr. Mullen!!!!!

Good Luck to Everyone else working on those waviers! And for anyone looking to apply next year, make sure you start as EARLY as you can with DoDMERB, since it took over 6 months for mine!
