had test needed for asthma came back great has been posted to waiver site. how long to hear if granted waiver?
 
I just got my waiver approved and couple days ago, and I started the waiver process five months ago. It was a little frustrating, but if you call and keep up with them alot, it should go quicker.

I was disqualified for asthma. How does the waiver process work? I could use some good news.

I was DQed in October and didn't get a waiver till March. So it takes a while. But with patience, you'll be OK.
 
If you look at the "sticky" threads at the top of the DoDMERB subforum, you'll find this, together witha lot more useful information from Mr Mullen:

Waiver timelines – The waiver authorities will render their waiver decisions based on their workload; complexity of the case; whether or not additional consultants are utilized in the decision making process AND the consultant’s ability to be responsive; etc. There is NOT standard timeline for rendering a waiver decision. All waiver authorities are dedicate to providing a comprehensive evaluation and issuing as timely a decision as possible.
