Is the physical/ CFA test for rotc easier than for service academies- or at least easier to qualify?

What about the medical examination? It seems like the medical examination for service academies are super strict .

To get into SA's, CFA is harder...6 skills tested. To stay IN the SAs I believe they are similar (pushups, situps, run).

Check the PRT (physical readiness test) online for the appropriate military service branch and you'll find minimums.

I just don't like the fact that if you get an injury after being accepted you can still be disqualified...all that hard work for nothing:mad:...is this the same for ROTC scholarships?

Yes, you are required to submit any changes in your medical condition between the time you are cleared and the time you get to your SA\college.

Every semester at SA or ROTC college you must pass the physical test. Each injury is treated differently, depending on severity. Son hasn't had to worry about injuries during ROTC, just the normal cold/flu stuff.

I don't know what the procedure is if your are injured during ROTC.

2012Cadet - You must be medically qualified when you take the Oath. Of course, the services don't want to be responsible for any illness or injury that occurs prior to that time.
