My DS received a LOE and was placed on the NWL. Yes, we were mail box stalkers, and it was somewhat comforting that he was told that he would hear from WP within the next week - and he did. After the 1st wave went out DS received his appointment the following Saturday. Hope this helps...

My CA DS got his nomination from Boxer to USMA. He also received congressional to both USAFA and USMA, was wait listed and received his BFE on Mar 2, dated 2/26. No calls from either office.

Boots/Shoes My DS is visiting WP in a couple of weeks and will purchase his on base. I agree that you should break them in, including the dress shoes. Best advice he received was to have them over his shoulder or on his feet on R Day - if you forget and pack them then WP will issue new boots...
