I've already contacted my BGO and I'm in 9th grade. As long as you have serious questions regarding the Academy I'm sure your BGO wouldn't mind. He/she might also appreciate your initiative to contact him/her early on in the applications process.
I live in a rural town in West Virginia. I'm planning to go to two leadership programs this summer and a computer code program as well. I'm in my church's youth group too. I'm not sure what activities I could do to help my application. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not absolutely positive, but I believe the Naval Academy only looks at your Freshman-Junior years. I would take a AP Chemistry since the Naval Academy offers a very heavy dose of STEM courses your Plebe year.
