DD got an acceptance three days ago. But I have to echo others; it is not required to earn an appointment. DS did not get in to SLE and got an appointment to West Point and will be part of the class of 2028!

Do family members of cadets get special pricing on football tickets? I assume the cadets get free tickets? My older daughter went to Notre Dame and getting football tickets was a whole thing... and of course we are dying to get tickets to the Army/ND game in NYC in November!

Have not heard from Senator Ossoff yet. DS got noms from Sen Warnock and Rep. McBath (GA-7) in mid December and an appointment for USMA at the end of December.

honestly, we are not sure which nomination was used for the appointment, and we don’t know if the appointments were principal or competitive. he was just congratulated on receiving appointments from his representative and one of our senators.

That’s interesting; so no email or phone call from Rep McBath. DS is in GA-07 also. He got an email when he got Senator Warnock’s nomination for USMA. I guess every MOC does it differently.
