What officer careers do you think would best be useful after service in the civilian workforce? Best for business major? I still don't know what I'm interested in in the Air Force, the ones I am looking at are Acquisition Manager and Logistics.
Also, what are thoughts on enlisted vs officer?
I'm a sophmore, third semester. The reason why I went down from a 250 to a 100 was not to extend my academic career for ROTC, but because I'm at a jc and I would be a spring transfer to they decided for me to go down.
By the looks of how I'm doing in the class that I want to drop, I think it...
If a W does not count as an F for ROTC, how do they calculate it into your gpa? I'm planning a meeting with my commander before I drop anything to see if I still have a chance. If I drop this class it will be my second W in my college career, but I would rather take the W than an F that will...
Since then, I have changed to a 100. But even then, I'm still skeptical of my chances. I do need the class I'm planning to drop but right now it doesn't look like I'll be passing so I plan on dropping it before deadline, and retaking it next semester to get rid of the W.
Hi everyone,
I'm in my first semester of AFROTC, and I'm enjoying it very much. Although I need practice of getting out of my comfort zone and command presence (which will come with experience I'm sure) I am in a dilemma of dropping the program because of gpa requirements. I didn't realize...
I'm currently filling out the form for DoDMERB and they're asking about marijuana use and alcohol consumption. Do they compare your answers to what you filled out at the AFROTC NSO? Because I don't remember answering anything about alcohol on the forms at NSO, but I did check that I've tried...
If by walk on you mean, attending the NSO and then attending the first LLAB the following week, then yes. I'm a 250 and at the NSO was when I filled out the drug form. I wasnt going to say anything on the form because I have no records but i saw that the cadet next to me admitted to it too. And...
Thanks for all your replies! I'm just lost and concerned about this whole thing, would the TS clearance happen before or after the waiver goes through?
Also has anyone experienced anything similar to this?
what is the DoDMERB exam? Since I admitted to it in the last 12 months maybe chances are much lower then? The sergeant said I should be fine but just to be consistent with my answer, and she also said the number limit of times is 5..
I am currently enrolled in my univeristys AFROTC, but i had mistakenly said i have tried marijuana "less than 10 times" on the form where it asks about drug usage. I am not a drug user at all and I honestly dont remember the last time or how many times I have done it.
When the sergeant asked...
