    Wouldn't they be non direct then, for the direct/ non direct column? It was my understanding direct meant straight from highschool, and non direct could be college, prior enlisted, etc?

    Disappearing LOI's in March

    Not sure about LOIs, but for a bunch of people before with LOAs, the LOA disappeared at the start of the week, and by the end of the week they had a letter of admission. Not trying to get your hopes up or anything... but thats just what happened for me and some other people...

    Where would one find the required vaccines/ forms/ everything that will be required? I am assuming that it will all come out eventually so no need to worry about it too much? But also why not get the jump on it sooner than later? Thank you!

    What is the difference between an Appointee tour and a discover USAFA tour? I was appointed so I signed up for a Discover USAFA tour to see what the school is like, but are there specific more in depth tours for Appointees? And if so, where does one find those? I went on to my portal, to events...

    How do nominations look in the portal?

    Yep. For example: Missouri - 1st Congressional District Nomination received. Missouri - Senator 81 Nomination received. Missouri - Senator 82 Nomination received. Something like that etc, all as different check marks.

    What did the "official package" entail? Was it just the same document that was on the portal saying that you had been offered admission? Earlier this month, 2 weeks ago I believe.

    It will show up on your portal. Other than that it is different for every MOC. Some will email you, some will call, etc. But it will always end up on your portal as something like: Missouri - Senator 81 Nomination received. Missouri - 1st Congressional District Nomination received. etc

    Summer Seminar - Did it help?

    I didn't go to USAFA SS, but to USMA SLE and NASS, and at both they said that attending the SS has absolutely no impact on your application, and how the academy looks at you. Going to something like Boy's/Girl's state instead was something that was seen as beneficial. I am not sure about USAFA...
