I just submitted my preliminary application for this year and am excited to go through this lengthy process once again.

The way I see it, if you deserve an appointment you will receive one. It's as simple as that. This waiting game is just a formality, and a very painful one, so hopefully this idea helps ease the mind of my fellow CPRs - I know it helped me. Good luck everyone!
At the beginning of this process, no news meant good news. I'm not sure that is still true this late in the process. But as long as you don't have a TWE, you are still in the game. Stay positive everyone!
Will a candidate in need of a waiver normally hear back from DoDMERB about a waiver request, or will the USNA reach out first with a conditional offer of appointment?
I understand that these are the average values, but during an interview I was told that there were closer to 21,000 applicants this year. I just wanted to confirm this.
I was medically DQ'd back in September with two very waiverable conditions, but I was curious if these DQ's could affect my chances of receiving an appointment, or even a conditional appointment.
Hypothetically speaking, could a medical DQ tip the scales between two candidates who are close in...
