Pretty sure it means that he did not get the NROTC Scholarship. My son turned his down when he found out he was getting it so someone else could have it and now his says "Your application was not selected for a scholarship". Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

DS just got the email. Not accepted. This past year has been a rollercoaster of a ride but I'm so proud of him. Plan B was NROTC scholarship which we found out about a month ago that he was going to be awarded but he respectfully decided to forgo the scholarship and allow someone else to have...

Just curious if candidates that have multiple nominations to USNA have a greater chance of getting an offer of appointment? We are in KY and our DS was only able to get 1 nomination from our MOC to USNA because our 2 senators and our congressman told him they will not nominate the same people...
