TWE arrived
TWE arrived today, we expected such since he just had 2 shoulder surgeries and was DodMerb denied. We can now focus on the backup plan and believe that "everything happens for a reason". Good luck to the next class of cadets.
Hi, my son was deferred from EA1. We have visited twice. We did the basic tour last spring and he was cadet for a day this past fall. Both were worth it, however I don't know how much it helped. It did make him realize that the USCGA was his first and only choice. I know if he doesnt make...
CGAS
Are there any students there who came on their own with hopes to apply to the academy again. Do you think it would be a benefit to do that if you don't get accepted the first time and don't get offered a scholarship?
Thank
What an amazing story of patience. My son also has plan B in place, but as you said, he is not excited about it. His only goal is to attend the Academy. To know that they accept students into June is exciting and stressful. Thank you for your words of encouragement.
Envelopes
Hi, my son has received a few large envelopes in the past couple of months with the school catalog in it, and I believe he did receive a letter stating that he had everthing in for EA1. We are still waiting to hear by "official" envelope what his admission status is.
Thanks for all of the replies. At least I know to expect some sort of envelope for sure, informing us of what lies ahead. Passport has been taken care of and back up plan in place, so we will wait to hear.
Thanks again.
I have had a lot of mix-ups with our mail lately. Just last week I recieved 4 pieces of mail that were not ours, but belonged to someone else. Are the letters sent certified in any way that if it gets lost someone would know?
