My son's AROTC status was updated to Remedial Requested. Can someone explain what this means and what we need to do?

Sorry for such late reply, been gone for a while. I spell it out R.O.T.C., but I have a 2 star (retired)AF general brother-in-law, that was ROTC that says ROT-C. SO go figure.

My son has completed his physicals for AROTC. Can anyone inform me as to how long DODMERB takes to qualify or disqualify, and how will they inform us?

Boys State My son attended in 09. We were told by recruiters it was looked upon highly.

Three days ago we told that our son had received a 4year AROTC scholarship.Yesterday his top and bottom schools were listed on status website( which he has been accepted to both).After reading posts we are anxiously awaiting physicals. Good Luck to EVERYONE.

My son received message of ArmyROTC on Feb.2.

We are the parents of a high school senior. He has applied for an AROTC scholarship. He was notified by college(1st choice-out of state) on Feb.2 he had been awarded. This is an answer to many months of prayers. Good luck and may God Bless you all.

Message Change My son has applied for a four year scholarship.The portal changed today to contact DODMERB. After calling them directly, I was told a packet should be sent in the next 10 days or so to complete and to schedule a physical. My son is planning on attending Carson-Newman. He...
