If I attend community college this year, will I be able to enter a military college as a freshman next year?

Yes graduating class 09. Would i be able to transfer half-way through or would I have to stick it out a whole year assuming I would be accepted to VT? I do have a very attractive resume and would perfer to take a year off to work instead of going to community college if it would not hurt me in...

Unfortunately it's too late to apply to VT as I am a senior in high school. Will applying next year make my resume look any less impressive? Should I do community college for a year? I appreciate all advice and suggestions.

flieger, do you know how your KP pilots got the chance to get into pilot training? I want to be a pilot, most people say the best place to go is AFA but I find KP more interesting and think I would do better there. Is cross-comissioning done before UPT?

Ok thanks guys. Is there a dream-sheet sort of thing at MMA? For example, i know at USAFA cadets can put Sheppard AFB (ENJJPT) at the top of their list in hopes of getting in to that pilot training program. Could this be done at MMA or would i have to first cross-commission into the Air Force...

I understand there are pilot training slots available upon graduating from USMMA. Is this for the Navy only or could one go on to train to be a pilot in the Air Force?

I've heard good things about MMI's service academy prep program, do you know if Valley Forge has one and if it's any good? I live in northern New Jersey but am willing to travel anywhere. I have been accepted into MMI already but do they have any specific scholarships i can apply for?
